THE LORD’S WORK

THE LORD’S WORK

The Lord has entrusted me with three significant tasks for the establishment of His work: lay the foundation, create a framework, and prepare a stage for ministry. Through His guidance, each of these tasks has been completed, and now we trust that He will bring forth the right candidates to fulfill His awesome plan.

1. Laying the Foundation:

Every great work begins with a solid foundation. In ministry, this foundation is built upon Christ, the Chief Cornerstone. As Scripture says, “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11, NIV). This foundation is established through prayer, dedication to the Word, and aligning every aspect of ministry with the teachings of Jesus. The groundwork has been laid firmly in the truths of the Gospel, ensuring that all future works will be rooted in Him.

2. Creating the Framework:

With the foundation in place, the next task was to build a framework—structure and guidelines for the ministry to grow upon. This is akin to how Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem, providing protection and order for the city (Nehemiah 2:17). The framework represents the vision, mission, and core principles that guide the ministry’s operations. Just as a body cannot function without its skeleton, the ministry needed a well-thought-out structure to ensure that every part works together harmoniously in accordance with God’s will.

 3. Preparing the Stage:

Finally, the stage was set for ministry—an environment where the Lord’s work can flourish. Just as John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus, we have prepared a platform where God’s message can be delivered to the world (Mark 1:3). The stage is now ready for God’s chosen vessels to step forward and be used mightily for His glory.

With these tasks completed, I stand confident that the Lord, in His perfect timing, will bring the right candidates to fulfill His awesome plan. “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9, NIV). We trust in His divine wisdom to appoint leaders, servants, and workers who are called according to His purpose.

The foundation has been laid, the framework established, and the stage is set. Now, we wait in faith for the Lord to bring forth His chosen ones to carry out the ministry’s next phase, as He promised: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” (Matthew 9:37-38, NIV).

We believe that as He has led thus far, He will continue to guide, direct, and provide. His plan is unfolding, and it is marvelous in our eyes!

Amen! Amen! Amen!
