Pastor Tanny Keng, started by ministering in his home church (Grace Klang) and then launched into marketplace ministries, both locally and overseas. He ministers prophetically, delivering God's Word faithfully.  A team of pastors, elders, and layleaders join together to minister in this program. 

His favourite subject is “See! What God can do!” It is his story to a nation with the biggest population in the world! China >1.4 billion! The story unvieled what God can do in the midst of his hungry people. He has published one of his many e-books entitled “My Story His Story The Wuhan Story!

The Beginning of His Greater Ministry 

Prior to 1 August 2024, the Lord gave Pastor Tanny 3 specific tasks:

1. To lay a foundation.

2. To create a framework.

3. To set a stage for individual ministry.

On 1 August 2024, Sunshine Destiny Ministries (SDM) was mooted by Pastor Tanny Keng. 

SDM ministry wing was activated on 29 September 2024 whereas Sunshine Dream Village on 30 September 2024. Pastor Tanny Keng is the Founding Mentor for Sunshine Destiny Ministries (SDM).

SDM is the heart of spiritual nourishment, focused on ministries that center on worship, prayer, and discipleship. SDM functions as a movement, driven by a calling to bring people into a closer relationship with God through faith-based initiatives and the demonstration of spiritual gifts. At its core, SDM emphasizes ministry services such as evangelism, intercessory prayer, and Christian education, fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19, ESV).

SDM’s primary function is to minister to the spiritual needs of individuals and communities, focusing on transforming lives through the Word of God and the empowering work of the Holy Spirit. 

The movement’s goal is to equip believers with the necessary tools for spiritual growth and to lead others in their walk of faith. SDM seeks to build a community of believers who are committed to living out their faith by actively engaging in prayer, worship, and the study of Scripture.

In contrast, Sunshine Dream Village (SDV) operates as an entity that focuses on community-centric projects and social services. While SDM’s focus is ministry, SDV embodies practical community service and development. It is designed to address the physical, emotional, and societal needs of the community by providing services such as food banks, educational programs, health and wellness initiatives, and other forms of support that contribute to the overall welfare of the community.

This model aligns with the biblical mandate to care for the less fortunate:

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40, NIV).

SDV is structured as an operational entity that engages in service projects to uplift communities, focusing on areas like poverty alleviation, education, and sustainable living solutions. It complements the spiritual nourishment provided by SDM by ensuring the well-being of individuals in practical, tangible ways.

With the 3 assigned tasks completed, Pastor Tanny Keng stands confident that the Lord, in His perfect timing, will bring the right candidates to fulfill His awesome plan. “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9, NIV). 

We trust in His divine wisdom to appoint leaders, servants, and workers who are called according to His purpose.

The foundation has been laid, the framework established, and the stage is set. Now, we wait in faith for the Lord to bring forth His chosen ones to carry out the ministry’s next phase, as He promised: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” (Matthew 9:37-38, NIV)

We believe that as He has led thus far, He will continue to guide, direct, and provide. His plan is unfolding, and it is marvelous in our eyes!
