The Chronicles of Wuhan (China) Journey: The First Wave (Excerpt 6)

In June 2018, we returned to Wuhan, staying for three weeks. Once again, the local pastor invited us to minister, this time to a house church in Wuchang.

On Sunday morning, 10 June, we arrived for the service. After lunch, the lady pastor requested us to pray for her co-workers. God did not fail to show up — the very first day we prayed, His presence was tangible.

The lady pastor wanted us to focus ministry efforts on her church. Over the next two days (21-22 June), we held intensive healing sessions from morning until night, arranged especially for her congregation.

During these sessions, a senior lady pastor and a teacher from a 3-self church also attended, having heard from members about what happened during our earlier 3-day conference. Many participants were moved to tears, confessing generational curses, wounds from childhood trauma, and broken families affected by poverty, divorce, and more. God’s love was evident in the healing atmosphere.

By the gifts of wisdom, knowledge, and counsel, we helped many to see areas in their lives that required confession and repentance. Several experienced deliverance from evil spirits, visibly manifested as they were set free.

The senior pastor and teacher came seeking personal ministry. They carried deep heartache from disagreements within their church community—some pastors had embraced outside teachings that caused division. After receiving ministry and prophetic words of encouragement, they felt renewed peace and gratitude.

Everyone wonders how a journey ends. Does it end well?

The answer was a resounding Yes! Not only was there a profound shift in the spiritual atmosphere, but relationships within the church were restored and strengthened.

God’s presence was evident in every meeting. Many were touched and overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit, falling under His power. Deliverances were frequent, with tears and spiritual manifestations affirming His move. The church, already prayerful, hungered even more for God’s anointing and breakthrough.

On our final day, the emotional farewell was unforgettable. The lady pastor, her mother, son, and co-workers saw us off at the lift. The pastor embraced my wife, breaking down in tears. Her team also wept. My wife comforted her, promising we would return. It was a moving moment — a testimony of God’s love and faithfulness.

All glory to Yeshua!
