My Story His Story (2) | One Month Before Setting Foot On Wuhan

In early winter of November 2016, exactly one month before my journey to Wuhan, the Lord gave me a prophetic message for a Chinese lady who owned a large resort in Wuhan. I sent this word via WhatsApp to her contact—the academic dean of the school where I was to minister. The dean passed the message to her assistant, who translated it into Chinese.

Several weeks prior, I had a brief but significant encounter with this lady during a speaking engagement at Cheras Sentral Mall. She had come alongside the school principal as part of his team. God’s timing was perfect.

Through an interpreter, I shared encouraging words with her. The interpreter told her it was confirmation. She then made a gesture inviting me to come visit Wuhan.

When our flight arrived at Wuhan airport, to our surprise, the Chinese lady and her assistant were already waiting to receive us. The night was cold and late, yet they warmly welcomed us and escorted us to her resort, the venue for the school’s meetings.

That first night, we stayed in a chalet, but soon she graciously upgraded my wife and me to a presidential suite with a dining room and master bedroom.

Her eagerness to connect was clear. One day, she confided—through an interpreter—that every time she read the prophetic message I had shared, tears streamed down her face. The reason? The message I had given her was exactly the same prophetic word she had secretly written and placed in the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.

No one knew of this connection—except God.

What a reminder of His faithfulness and how He weaves His plans through us in ways beyond our understanding.
